About MatrixLab
A free, instant, no-nonsense matrix calculator built for students, engineers, and anyone who needs to crunch linear algebra without installing a thing.
Why we built it
Matrix operations come up constantly — in coursework, data work, graphics, and everyday problem-solving. Most online tools are either cluttered with ads, hidden behind paywalls, or require you to learn a whole new interface.
MatrixLab is none of that. Open it, type your numbers, get your answer. No account, no cost, no distractions.
What it does
- Matrix addition and subtraction (identical dimensions)
- Matrix multiplication (A × B with compatible inner dimensions)
- Transpose any matrix — including the result
- Resize matrices independently from 1×1 up to 8×8
- Swap Matrix A and Matrix B in one click
- Accepts integers, decimals, and negative numbers
- Copy the result to clipboard as tab-separated values
- Keyboard navigation across the grid (arrow keys + Tab)
